Alaska is a distant and at the same time close land, discovered and developed by Russian in the XVIII-XIX centuries. Today it is the 49th state of the United States, making up 1/5th of the territory of the country. The land, almost untouched by the rapid development of civilization. One of the most rich in natural resources regions of our planet. A symbol state, “last frontier” – the last outpost of travelers on the North American continent.
It is home to 23 national parks and reserves, more than any other state in the country.
