Itinerary
Day 1 (Nov 26): Tokyo – meet and greet
We will kick off our adventure with a meet and greet in the heart of Tokyo. This initial gathering is designed to help you get acquainted with your fellow participants and our expert instructors. We’ll start with a warm welcome and introductions, followed by an overview of the itinerary and key objectives for the workshop. Additionally, we’ll provide a brief orientation on photography techniques and tips tailored for capturing landscapes. This is a great opportunity to ask questions, share your photographic goals, and set the tone for the creative journey ahead.
Day 2-5: Visions of Fuji, waterfalls and Japan pastorals
Join us for an enriching photo workshop focused on capturing Mount Fuji from a variety of breathtaking perspectives. This workshop is designed to provide you with a comprehensive photographic experience as we travel by car to several stunning locations around this iconic peak. From serene lakeside views and lush forest settings to traditional villages and panoramic vistas, you’ll have the opportunity to photograph Fuji in all its glory. Our experienced instructors will guide you in mastering techniques for landscape photography, ensuring you capture the essence and grandeur of Japan’s most famous mountain. Throughout the journey, we will provide personalized feedback through critique sessions, helping you enhance your skills and develop your artistic vision. Embark on this scenic adventure and discover the many faces of Mount Fuji through your lens.
Day 6-7: Tokyo Nights
This part of the workshop focuses on both architecture and street photography, offering you the unique opportunity to explore and document the city’s dynamic urban landscape after dark. From the towering skyscrapers and neon-lit streets to the hidden alleyways and bustling markets, you’ll learn to master the art of night photography in one of the world’s most iconic cities.
Our expert instructors will guide you through each step, providing hands-on techniques and creative tips to elevate your work. Additionally, we’ll hold critique sessions to offer personalized feedback, helping you refine your skills and develop your unique photographic style. Discover the magic of Tokyo at night and take your photography to new heights in this comprehensive workshop.
Day 8: Tokyo – goodbye
During the last day of the workshop, we’ll hold an optional critique session, after which the tour ends and participants can go their separate ways.
